The printing strip consists of glass ceramic material with 8 dots per mm (300 dpi).  The printing data is processed in the thermal strip and the individual printing dots heated as required.  This causes the colour crystals in the activated areas to be transferred to the product in question.  TTO technology can be used for variable marking of all flexible packaging materials either when stationary or in continuous movement.
